Florida's business base is vast and mostly small. The Census Bureau counted 645,575 employer establishments in 2023, and 88.4% of employer establishments here had fewer than 20 employees. That is a very large field of small competitors, so broad statewide terms are hard to win; specific pages for each service, city and customer question are the practical way to be seen.
Both expertise and retail are large. There were 94,623 professional, scientific and technical services establishments and 75,988 retail trade establishments, and each group benefits from content that answers buyer questions directly rather than repeating slogans.
Demand keeps arriving. The estimated population was 23,462,518 residents in July 2025, up 8.9% from the 2020 base. Many newcomers have no regular plumber, clinic, accountant or boutique yet. They can search, check maps or ask AI assistants, so a complete, current web presence helps a business meet them.
